Bogan Moths is an animated/live-action comedy series, set amongst families of Bogong Moths, who have been tempted away from the annual migration by the bright lights of a diverse, low-income community of humans.

The moths have taken on the characteristics of the humans they regularly interact with, paralleling their daily dramas. Surrounded by their own form of nocturnal delights - their insatiable desire for light - the moths struggle with addiction to regular light bulbs, the softer stuff, and the blue zapper lights; the ‘hard stuff’, where overindulgence can kill you.

But now some are struggling with the existential question of life and their place within it. They are starting to realise that living their days hidden and their nights, wasted, isn't all it's cracked up to be.
