We're still here!

A lot has happened since our last blog post, and it's hard to believe it’s been well over a year! We’ll have more details soon, but we have some exciting Levare updates on the way. We’ve “locked” the animatic, and we’re working on a trailer (sort of), new concept art, and an Unreal Engine “proof of concept”. We also have some new talent joining the team!

Before we get to any of that though, we want to let you know that we’ll no longer be posting any content directly to social media, only links to content elsewhere and to this blog. We’ll also be cleaning up our social media accounts and removing a lot of content, so some old posts will disappear.

The main reason for this, and perhaps we’re being paranoid, is that we can’t trust that social media platforms (and their users) won’t misuse our content. We also feel that fleeting social media engagement with our content doesn’t have much value. Perhaps we’re wrong, but if someone isn’t willing to read a blog post and view content on our website, they’re probably not our target audience. The other reason is that we’ll be able to spend less time catering to social media, and more time on passion projects.

We may change our position on this in the not-too-distant future, but for now, we’re leaving the social media rat race. If you want to follow us, the best thing to do is subscribe to our mailing list, and/or YouTube Channel. The former will simply notify you when there’s a new blog post (maybe once a month, at most), and the latter is where all our video content will be published (which we’re hoping to ramp up).
